When you leave the Mart, you'll have the first of five encounters with a Kimono Girl, five sisters from Ecruteak City who perform Japanese theater.

Similarly to other recently released Pokémon games, Pokémon from outside the regional Pokédex can be captured after entering the Hall of Fame and earning the National Pokédex. Poison/Flying-type Zubat is a pretty weak Pokemon on its own, but it's final evolution is rather useful, so you might want one. As in Pokémon Gold and Silver, the primary Pokémon of the remakes are native to the Johto and Kanto regions. Trainers in Kanto (which is accessible after obtaining the National Pokédex) often have Pokémon from Hoenn and Sinnoh.

The plot of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver is mostly the same as Gold and Silver with a few changes and included plot elements exclusive to Pokémon Crystal. Sprout Tower, a shrine to Bellsprout that has an oddly flexible architecture, is a fairly straightforward building with three floors; occasionally you'll be attacked by wild Rattata during the day and wild Gastly at night.
