It did look slightly cakey around my nose, but no more so than any other matte Foundation I’ve tried. Interestingly, it’s not an undertone I would have picked out as being right for my skin (more yellowy - I usually go for a rose undertone), but it is very natural looking.

Lightly apply My Perfect Foundation in your chosen shape (Light, Medium or Dark) to the face and begin to build the desired coverage where you need it most. You can see the shine starting to come through on the tops of my cheeks, but at 8 hours I actually expected more of that. My Perfect Powder™ has a rounded brush head made from soft natural fibers that fit precisely in to the contours of the face.I am very pleased with the individualised product created for me, the colour of the foundation blends in very well with my skin and the texture is lovely. We recommend you use an oil-free formulation foundation if you want to use it in conjunction with My Perfect Eyes. The packaging itself is fairly simple, made from a coloured plastic similar to the foundation and not showing the product inside as it might first appear.

Even up close in a magnifying mirror it looks sheer and fairly undetectable and feels just as lightweight and breathable also. For a modern matte look use the Perfect Powder brush to pin point areas of unwanted shine such as the nose, between the brows and across the chin, allowing the high planes of your face to glow naturally. Creates a lighter shade to brighten the under eyes - you can also use this as an eyeshadow primer or to define your brows. What we see in the mirror is not the universal ideal of perfection, but our own fabulous selves, refreshed and revitalised. I get a slight clean apricot fragrance from this that disappears once it's on the skin, but I've read quite a few reviews that say they notice no discernible scent.Dispense a small amount of My Perfect Foundation onto the back of your hand and apply to the face using a foundation brush (we recommend the My Perfect Foundation Brush), a beauty sponge, or your fingers. When you receive your DCYPHER foundation in the post, check it’s a perfect match by applying a small amount to your jawline and checking yourself out in natural light.
