I feel like a part of Laurel died that day when Jere announced that her seventeen-turning-eighteen year old daughter was engaged 😅. Because some people come into your life for a season for a reason and they move on and you move on when you both feel it’s ready or that relationship isn’t working anymore.He was giving Jere the go ahead to date Belly because he hurt Belly in an insurmountable way and he knew that she would take a long time—if ever—to forgive him for what he said that day, so to fulfill his promise to his mom and to protect Belly, he let Belly go.
