As I said, this DAC is a great bang for the buck, however, I’ve got two minor remarks regarding this product.Not much to add that hasn’t been said on the countless 5 star reviews except incredible build quality, beautiful sound, rich, warm and clear. I’m just a dude that spends 12+ hours a day staring at a screen, and music makes that time go by so much faster. If you’re sitting on the fence and can’t afford a Chord Mojo Just go for it you won’t have any regrets.

Had been running my HD599 through the ibasso dc03 and i thought that had made quite a difference but the ZEN is in a complete different league.

I'll probably try the new Zen Phono on my desktop system too, to replace the Rega Fono Mini I'm currently using. The sound is also great simply by connecting it via USB inputs + short, quality RCA outputs, but I recommend (even later) the investment in a power supply (not necessarily iFi unless you have a particularly noisy house current) and in a 4. The devil puts pressure without end on even mediocre sources; here it plays really well without sounding strained. I will do further tests by downloading DSD256 tracks and PCM above 96 kHz, then I will update the comment. The ZEN DAC V2 is a worthy follow-up to the extremely popular ZEN DAC, one of our yesteryear favourites.I’m not that experienced in hi-fi yet, but I’ve never heard a sound like this, especially not at my desk.
