The PS-6 can generate two or three voices, such as direct/third/fifth, in each of the following modes: Pitch Shifter, Detune, and Harmony. This will add rich depth to your guitar sound. Detune broadens the sound in a natural way, as the PS-6 allows 3-voice detuning with slightly raised and lowered pitch added to the direct signal. Voices can also be pitch-shifted one octave up and a fifth below your note — great for arpeggio-style playing, for example. Super Bend Furthermore, the pedal has four rubber feet on the underside to help it stay in place, whether you’re using it on a pedalboard or just on a stage floor.

Using both outputs with the standard helix I don't see the point. It's useful if you have 2 pedals. It's one thing I miss about not having the standard helix.The potential of many pedals goes unmet because a player doesn’t have—or bother to use—an expression pedal. The rugged Boss EV-30 offers a great way to solve that simple problem. But one of the best things about the EV-30 is the way you can harness the untapped possibilities of two expression pedal-enabled stompboxes. The other best thing? The resulting sounds can range from subtle tone shifts to psychotic sonic episodes. Boss’ manual states that they can’t guarantee the functionality of the EV-30 with all non-Boss devices. This could be considered a “your mileage may vary” situation — we had more than a few pedals and devices connected to an EV-30, made by a variety of manufacturers, and we found no issues on our end.
